Students will enjoy viewing a 3,000-year-old Egyptian mummy and St. Pete's famous two-headed calf as a class visit to the Museum brings history to life. Guided school tours connect social studies lessons in Florida and U.S. History to modern-day life, making a trip to the museum both educational and relatable for students of all ages. Historical themes covered by trained docents address the Sunshine State Standards in Social Studies, Language Arts, Visual Arts and Science. Discounted rates are available for school tours. In order to ensure that your request can be accommodated, please book tours at least three weeks in advance. For special requests, curriculum details, additional information, or to schedule a tour, please contact Curator and Director of Education, Nevin Sitler. Download the brochure | PDF.
