While the battlefields of World War I were far from the Sunshine State, the war’s reach extended into the social, cultural, political and economic lives of Floridians.
Led by renowned historian Dr. Gary Mormino, known for his anecdotal stories and engaging style, the Tuesday night event begins at 6pm and is free and open to the public.
Dr. Mormino, the Frank E. Duckwall professor emeritus of history at the University of South Florida – St. Petersburg, will be joined by Dr. Ronald Granieri, Director of Research, Lauder Institute of International Studies, Wharton, University of Pennsylvania.
