Now, the Museum is proud to debut Wish You Were Here — a vivid look at how postcards, photographs, and marketing sold St. Petersburg’s sunshine, beaches, and Florida fantasy to the world.

The Museum’s new premier membership focused on continuing the legacy of preserving St. Petersburg’s history. Named for the iconic airboat that made aviation history on Jan. 1, 1914, when pilot Tony Jannus and passenger A.C. Pheil took off from the Central Yacht Basin and headed to Tampa in the world’s first commercial airline flight.
