The St. Petersburg Museum of History and Southern Roots Realty invites you to join us on Thursday, March 13th for Happy Hour with the Historian with the Historian and the story of Babe Ruth in St. Petersburg!
Author and baseball historian Rick Vaughn will share stories of how Babe Ruth’s time in St. Pete made headlines nationwide. From his on- and off-field antics to his fishing and golf outings, to raising money to build the American Legion Crippled Children’s Hospital, the forerunner of All Children’s Hospital, Babe Ruth left his mark on St. Pete.
