The St. Petersburg Museum of History and Southern Roots Realty invites you on Thursday, May 9th to Happy Hour with the Historian featuring Tim Spofford and Education for All: 70 Years After Brown v Board
Award-winning author, journalist, and professor Tim Spofford discusses the landmark 1954 Supreme Court decision Brown v Board. Spofford’s book, “What the Children Told Us,” is the sole biography of the famous Harlem psychologists who created the legendary doll test that played a key role in the Brown v Board decision. Spofford will be joined by Dr. Ronald Sheehy who taught for years at Morehouse College and recently served as provost at Medgar Evers College.
