Happy Hour with the Historian – From Streetcars to the Sunrunner: PSTA’s Story

April 10 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The St. Petersburg Museum of History and Southern Roots Realty invites you to join us on Thursday, April 10th for Happy Hour with the Historian and the story of PSTA in St. Petersburg!

Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority’s (PSTA) writer and history nerd, Amanda Boisen takes you down the rabbit hole of how public transit was developed in Pinellas County.

From 1885 to the present day, this story has everything from trains, Philadelphia industrialists, urban expansion, gas crises, an overly complicated merger, and the rise of the SunRunner to create the PSTA we now know.

Amanda Boisen is a professional writer and musician, currently serving as Communications Coordinator for Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA).
