On the morning of May 9, 1980, a 600-foot freighter struck the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The main span collapsed and fell 150 feet into Tampa Bay.

Join us on Thursday, May 8, as author and journalist Bill DeYoung discusses one of the worst tragedies in Tampa Bay history, and his book, Skyway: The True Story of Tampa Bay’s Signature Bridge and the Man Who Brought It Down.
