Dr. Basha P. Jordan, Jr. will share the amazing story of one of St. Petersburg’s most important pioneers, Elder Jordan, Sr. Born into slavery, Elder Jordan, Sr. moved to St. Petersburg in 1904. His vision for the city and hard work created a path for the growth and enrichment of the city’s African American residents.
