The report details the struggle for Florida’s African American population to enjoy what Florida is famous for – sand\, surf\, and sun.The film is followed by a panel discussion on our local wade-ins and features Betty Harden (St. Pete 1958 wade-in)\, Jetson Grimes (Sarasota wade-in) and Gwendolyn Reese (President of the African American Heritage Trail).\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Event is Free\, But You Must Register to Receive A Complementary Ticket\n\n\n\nOur historic discussions are frequently sold out\, so reservations are required. Click on the link above to reserve your spot today!
