SUMMARY:Special Edition Happy Hour
DESCRIPTION:The St. Petersburg Museum of History and Southern Roots Realty invites you to a Special Edition of Happy Hour with the Historian!  \nJoin us on October 19 when Logan DeVicente and Phil Graham\, Jr. of the Downtown Waterfront Parks Foundation share the history\, as well as the future\, of our magnificent downtown waterfront parks. \nCivic leaders of yesteryear like William Straub\, Perry Snell\, and the Women’s Town Improvement Association fought for the public ownership and stewardship of our waterfront parks in the early 1900s. Over 100 years later\, the fight continues to protect the jewels of the downtown waterfront. \nDeVicente and Graham will talk not only about the past\, but what is coming down the road for our downtown parks – from restoration projects to the event to create the world’s longest picnic blanket! \n  \n\nPresented by Southern Roots Realty\, Happy Hour with the Historian is frequently sold out\, so reservations are required.
