The museum is a beautiful venue for a wedding reception. The location is excellent on the new beautiful pier right on the water. The staff at the museum were all very helpful in planning and assisting with my daughter's reception. The price was quite reasonable and well worth it and you can rent out the galleries as well as the reception room. They also have a nice area for cocktail hour. The guests as well as the bride and groom all loved it!

We just had our wedding at the Museum of History and I can't say enough what a wonderful experience it was. Planning a wedding is super stressful but the staff at the museum helped make the process as seamless as possible. Caitlin was wonderful to work with up until the very end. The wedding went off without a hitch and my guests had a wonderful time. Thank you all so much for helping make our day so special!

As a native of St. Petersburg, I wanted to choose a wedding venue with connections to the city in which I grew up. After visiting the St. Pete Museum of History, I knew this would be the perfect location for our wedding. We had the reception inside, which gave the charm I was looking for with the Benoist airplane above the dance floor. Our guests were given access to the entire museum and while my new husband and I took photos outside, they were able to enjoy a cocktail hour while exploring the museum. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines old St. Pete quirk with new St. Pete location, the Museum is the perfect spot for you.

After visiting almost every venue in St. Petersburg, we were thrilled to find the Museum of History. The museum is centrally located on the water with a backdrop of downtown St. Petersburg. We were able to rent out the entire museum, with the cocktail hour in the exhibit room and the reception in the Flight Gallery. We installed up-lighting and the entire venue, with its beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, shone. I highly recommend the Museum of History to any bride looking for a stunning, unique, and affordable reception.

We had the most amazing wedding reception at the museum after a beautiful ceremony in South Straub Park. We rented the full museum and had a scavenger hunt during cocktail hour, which our guests loved! The Flight One Gallery was perfect and I was so happy with how it all came out. So many guests complimented how authentic our wedding felt, and I think that was because we chose such a wonderful (and totally under-utilized) venue. I truly cannot say enough about how great our wedding was!
