The St. Petersburg Museum of History and Southern Roots Realty invites you to a Special Edition of Happy Hour with the Historian!
Join us on December 5th as author and journalist Jon Wilson unveils Days of Fear: A Lynching in St. Petersburg. The book exposes the shocking story of the gruesome 1914 murder of photographer and developer Frank Sherman in St. Petersburg and the calculated lynching of the Black man accused of the murder. Wilson explores the true-crime events and stories of the days of terror that followed — all buried for decades in the Sunshine City.
Copies of Days of Fear: A Lynching of St. Petersburg, are available for purchase at the St. Petersburg Museum of History.
