Williams mansion, 444 5th Ave. S., with buggy in front, John & Sarah Williams moved to what would become St. Petersburg in 1887. John Williams died in 1892. Sarah Williams then married Capt. James Armistead, and the pair lived here for a time. Sarah Williams Armistead stands at the front steps.
Mrs. Powell's home, 3410 9th St. N, was the first home built by Cade Allen in Allendale subdivision. c. 1922
